2021 Holiday Season Order Processing, Shipping Schedule & Delays

2021 Holiday Season Order Processing, Shipping Schedule & Delays

Jan 17 2021: Due to the storm, Canada Post has cancelled pickups for that date. We will still process orders, but they will only be picked up tomorrow.

Please note that tracking numbers for orders shipped today will NOT work until they are picked up tomorrow around 5pm!

Like previous years, we will be dedicating a post to cover order processing and shipping schedules/delays.

The current order processing delay can be found on the top left of the website. We will not be processing orders on:

  • December 3rd 2021
  • December 24th 2021
  • December 27 & 28 (No Canada Post Pickups!)
  • Jan 3rd 2022 (No Canada Post Pickups!)

We will update this post to reflect any changes!

Transit delays are to be expect with Canada Post! We will try to provide updates as we receive them, but the general consensus is very simply: EXPECT HEAVY DELAYS FROM CANADA POST DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON!

Unless your order hasn't been moving for 3+ weeks, there is nothing we can do. Even if we open a ticket with Canada Post, we will be told the package is in transit and will eventually be delivered!

As usual, if you package really gets lost in transit, we will reship it!

You can view the current Canada Post Network by visiting this website: https://canadapost.ca/status

We fully understand how frustrating the holiday season can be for transit times. We are also consumers waiting on some holiday shipments. The best advice we can give is to order in advance, use Canpar if they are not overloaded (faster on East Coast, West Coast will vary greatly) and be patient!

The team is working hard everyday to push out as many orders as possible. Every email/call inquiry about shipments reduces our speed and limits the amount of orders we can ship out.

We will be forwarding all email inquiries regarding shipping delays to this page to limit the amount of resources spent on answering emails.

Thank you for your understanding and have a great Holiday Season

The Vaporist Team.
